1. No Data Collection

"Is it..." is designed with your privacy at its core. We are proud to state that our application does not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of your personal data or usage information.

• We do not collect personal identifiers: This includes your name, email address, location, device ID, or any other personally identifiable information.
• We do not track you: The app does not use any analytics services, advertising networks, or third-party SDKs to track your behavior or usage patterns.
• No server-side storage: The app does not communicate with any external servers. All of its functionality is performed on your device.

2. How Your Data is Handled

All the data you create and settings you configure within "Is it..." are stored exclusively on your own device.

• Local Storage: Your event settings (such as event type, name, date, selected font, and color scheme) are stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults technology. This data remains within the secure sandbox of the application.
• Widget Synchronization: To ensure your widget updates correctly, the app uses an "App Group". This is a standard and secure Apple technology that allows the main app and its widget extension to share the data stored in UserDefaults. This data sharing occurs only between the app and its own widget on your device and is never transmitted off your device.

Because all data is stored locally, you are in complete control. If you delete the app from your device, all associated data is permanently removed as well.

3. iOS Permissions

"Is it..." does not require any special permissions to function, such as access to your location, contacts, photos, or calendar. It operates entirely within its own space.

4. Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. Since we do not collect any data at all, we are fully compliant with children's privacy regulations like the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We advise you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
